1. Ending Homelessness in New Orleans: Increasing Access to Stable and Affordable Housing: Moderator Michelle Whetten, Enterprise
Great strides have been made in reducing homelessness in New Orleans over the past couple of years. This panel examines how federal, state and city leaders are working together with local developers and service providers to achieve the goals of Mayor Landrieu's 10- Year Plan to End Homelessness. Panelists will discuss remaining challenges and innovative solutions.
2. Featured New Orleans Neighborhood: Moderator Bill Gilchrist, City of New Orleans
This panel will discuss the Choice Neighborhood Initiative, a partnership between the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, the City of New Orleans and the Housing Authority of New Orleans to revitalize the Iberville/Treme Neighborhood with strategies that focus on Housing, People and Neighborhood. Panelist will be representatives from HANO, Development Team and Service Providers.
